We are fascinated by the mannequins in Kunming, both for their outfits and foreign features. Many times their figures don't fit the cuts of the clothing, so they're forced to wear those large clips you'd usually find in a fashion shoot. Some come equipped with especially pouty lips and disinterested expressions, in active rebellion against their colorful ensembles. These beauties are our favorites so far. They line a large storefront on Běimén jiē in an area that has quite a few costume shops. We couldn't quite say if it's the outfits or the expressions, but they have a certain something that stops us in our tracks everytime.
